A Little Distraction

In Mid January Temecula Quilt Co invited us to their sew along - Wild Goose Wednesday.
The goal is to make 8 flying geese units per week for 33 weeks.
Week 1
Last year,  a quilt by Christine Vlasic  called "Flying By" inspired me to start collecting fabrics to make a contemporary version of a flying geese quilt.
Week 2
Fabrics were collected from different corners of my sewing room, and others bought from the various shops I love visiting.
There will be definitely more horses in future blocks.
Week 3
The Temecula Quilt Co issued an invitation that I could not resist. The fabrics are there, all piled up and waiting for attention.
My other projects are moving slowly, so 8 flying geese a week gives me a little tangible weekly goal.
Week 4
Just 8 geese a week!

I have been tempted by this sew along and printed off the sheet with cutting instructions for different sizes. So far managed to resist, but love the picture of the finished quilt, ahh, decisions, decisions! Your FG are very cute with horses, mushrooms and feathers - love it!
