Weekend away

Our long awaited sewing weekend finally arrived and off to Sorrento we went.

I played with a "Seasonal Little Gatherings" charm pack using a quick method I found here.

I decided I need more so it is on my shopping list for the quilt show this week end.

Christine was playing with red and white.

Lunch was always a treat.
Breads, cheeses, cold meats, eggplants, roasted peppers, salad, dips - Yum!

Back to work.
Angie's Irish chain with a difference.

Robyn's kaleidoscope was taking shape.

We had to stop for afternoon tea.
Scones, jam and cream - couldn't say no.

Anne put another border on her Friendship Quilt.

Having all the girls together was a good opportunity to start arranging the blocks for my Farmer's Wife quilt. Still a bit of work to do but it's a start.

Why are we so happy, we are going home!!!!

Sounds like you all had a lovely time and quite a bit of sewing was done. It would have been very rude not to eat those yummy looking scones! LOL! Your Farmer's Wife quilt is looking good.

Looks like fun and so productive. I love your charm project - simple but it really works with those fabrics. It must be a nice break from the Farmers Wife, which is also looking good.

Everyone is so happy because they got a lot done! And your 4-patch is looking quite primitive!
