Progressing slowly

My newly named Sorrento Squares has become a quilt top,

and I have decided decorate the corners. The applique design is from a free Kim Diehl project called "Walk in the Park". Still a few berries to add.
Trying to finish this one for our quilt show on November 10th. Will I make the deadline? Time will tell, but I will keep working until there is no hope.

The hand quilting of my Lori Smith quilt is proceeding slowly and

one hexagon panel is finished.

Moving slowly but in the right direction.

Your quilts are labors of love; time isn't that important when you enjoy what you are doing. There is nothing like handquilting.

Your Sorrento Squares quilt is lovely. The applique finish it off nicely. You'll just have to give up the housework for a while so you can get it finished in time for the show! Your other two projects looks lovely too.

Oh my. You've been a busy lady. So diligent to do all that hand applique and hand quilting! Those take so much more time than other methods, so good for you to persevere with them.
